“Six Months Sober”

March 29th was a night a lot of people in the Central PA scene had been waiting for—Blind Accuracy was finally back on stage at The Champ in Summerdale, PA.

The band—Korey Musser (vocals), Austin Weaver (drums), Justin Levendusky (vocals/guitar), and Peter Romeo (bass)—has been a staple in the local scene for years. This show was more than just a comeback; it felt like a reunion.

The night kicked off with a stacked lineup full of local talent, including Headways, who are known for putting everything they’ve got into their set. Their energy lit the room up and set the tone for what was coming.
A real standout moment came during their song “Pressure.” As they hit the breakdown and dropped the line “We’re meant to grow under pressure.” it was one of those moments that pulled you in—even if it was your first time hearing the track.

The emotion was real, the performance was tight, and it was obvious how much the band has grown. Headways always brings it, and this set was no exception.

When Blind Accuracy hit the stage, the energy in the room shifted. You could feel how much this show meant—not just to the band, but to everyone there. Musicians, friends, and fans packed in to see them play again, and the crowd didn’t miss a beat.

One of the most wholesome moments of the night came during “Wristband” when a young fan named Runa joined them on stage. She stood beside Korey, dancing and smiling, totally in sync with the music. It was one of those simple, feel-good moments that really captured what this scene is all about—connection, community, and heart.

The whole night felt like a reminder of what makes the Central PA music scene so special: the community, the passion, and the DIY spirit that keeps this thing alive. Blind Accuracy is the perfect example of a Central PA DIY band, from merch, to music videos they have done it all.
